Aurizon's Perth to Melbourne morning intermodal train heads east through the Avon Valley, east of Perth. Power for this train are 2 GE C44ACi locomotives, 6027 & 6002. Of interest is the fuel tanks behind the locomotive and crew relay car. As the train crosses the desert, there are no easy spots to change crew or refuel.
