Central Maine & Quebec's southbound #211 had found some rays by the time it reached the lower end of the Searsport Branch on January 30, 2016. When the trip first began out of Hermon over an hour before, dark overcast conditions looked to be what we'd face all the way. Having just crossed School Street in Stockton Springs, Maine, old rag-tagged 2542 gladly soaked up the sun four miles from it's destination of Searsport.
