2716 basks in the sun during her brief career under steam with the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society. Her second excursion career was a short one, but the Kentucky Steam Heritage Corporation has performed an evaluation of her current condition and found her still in excellent overall condition, and suitable for an operating restoration.
