    Remarks & Notes
On a cold, rainy night in Kingman, Arizona, the westbound Amtrak Southwest Chief prepares to depart for the last leg of its trip from Chicago. A new crew has just boarded the train and will take it across the Mojave Desert into Los Angeles with AMTK 42, the veterans unit, on the head end.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
