On what looks to be a beautiful early summer day, my father snapped this photo of the magnificent Tunkhannock Viaduct 63 years ago. It's a shame he didn't wait for a train to cross but the bridge is an interesting enough subject on its own. The Esso station, with its cans of oil stacked on the island is just icing on the cake.
