| With stormy skies ahead, a northbound Union Pacific intermodal train operating from Los Angeles to Lathrop climbs the grade through Soledad Canyon near the old station site of Russ on the ex-SP Saugus Line, which is now Metrolink's Valley Subdivision. Back on home rails, a former SP AC4400CW is the lone DPU on today's train. |
