After costing 4.5 million pounds to restore and 10 years in the restoration Flying Scotsman is wowing the nation.this week it has been to the North Yorkshire Moors railway for a weeks visit and huge crowds have followed every turn of its wheels. I had to take a hike for a couple of miles to find a spot not crowded with people. There were still three guys below me when I shot here!!
Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
