7335 hauls the Wellington bound Northern Explorer through Taihape, passing Steam Incorporated's Ja 1271 4-8-2 on an excursion run back to the depot near Wellington. The diesel locomotive was originally built in Canada 1979 to 1981. The steam locomotive was built at Hillside, Dunedin mid 1950's, being almost the last locomotive built new in New Zealand.
