Remarks & Notes

Train 1615 from Masterton races through Heretaunga bound for Wellington. These Metlink Wairarapa Connection trains share tracks with electric units as far as Upper Hutt. Special fire suppression equipment is fitted to locomotives used for these trains on account of the Rimutaka tunnel 8.5Km/ 5.5 miles long which the trains pass through.
