Another day on the L&N
Time freight Q539 has made it's first set off of cars at Patio Yard in Winchester and is now back on the move heading south towards Corbin, while local C706 has picked the cars up and is passing the head end and the L&N searchlights at Patio before shoving back and beginning the days work of sorting cars for local industries. While signal replacement has taken over other major CSX lines, the ex-L&N Cincinnati to Corbin mainline remains relatively untouched, with an abundance of GRS searchlights in various shapes and forms still in service. |
