Running 2x39x2x99 and weighing in at 14,500 tons and 8,500', M54 got priority over the two hottest westbounds on the railroad. Amtrak #19 went in the hole for a rolling meet at Bremen and seen here, the NS-UP Blue Streak #225-06 is cooling its heels in the siding at Temple.
