Steamlocomotives A 3/5 # 705 (4-6-0, SLM 1904) and "Elephant" C 5/6 # 2978 (2-10-0) are leaving the only 23 meter long Muhren tunnel on the northern ramp to the Gotthard tunnel, between Gurtnellen and Wassen. The 8 car train from Brugg (AG) to Bellinzona had about 358 metric ton, including a postal car and two dining cars.
