Santa Fe's hot 891 train makes a crew change stop at San Bernardino, California, on July 13th, 1985. Leading the train are EMD SD60 Demonstrators EMD-1, EMD-2 and EMD-4, which are testing on the Santa Fe (which explains the two test cars, and the engineer noting the fuel consumption). Once the fresh crew is on board, the trail will continue east to Chicago, IL.
