I was sitting just east of Hershey, NE, for what was probably the most spectacular sunset I had ever seen, just hoping a train would show up, but one never did. As I was packing my gear into the car to leave, I heard an eastbound blowing for town. So I pulled everything back out and set up, nailing UP 6821 east as it passed. By this point, the fog from the nearby South Platte River was slowly rolling in, making the scene much cooler than it had been even 10 minutes prior.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
