Drifting down 'stream' through the Colorado Rockies a 17 car Union Pacific executive special is led by a pair of 'heavies', representing both EMD and GE, near Burns, CO on the Dotsero Cutoff. This impressive collection of varnish is on the westbound leg of a round trip journey between Denver and Dotsero, CO via former Denver and Rio Grande Western trackage, trackage acquired by Union Pacific in 1996.
