Traversing remote and spectacular Sheep Canyon, BNSF’s north local (Cowley turn) out of Greybull, Wyoming, traces the Bighorn River on the hot afternoon of June 23, 2016. Two recently reactivated EMD SD70MACs power the southbound train that is passing milepost 414 just south of Spence on BNSF’s Casper Subdivision.
