| The four cylinder compound 2-10-0 freight train locomotive C 5/6 # 2978 "Elephant" is pulling the 260 ton passenger train from Biasca to Erstfeld up the 2.6 % grade of the Gotthard south ramp and crossing the Polmengo viaduct above Faido. Behind the locomotive the skylight mail car Z4i # 961 from about 1931. |
