The westbound loaded Alcan train crawls through the capitol city of the bluegrass state, while traffic on either side of the train continues to roll through, waiting on the string of aluminum laden cars to pass through town. The rails this train rides today are the L&N's "Old Road" from Louisville to Winchester via Frankfort and Lexington, once a heavy corridor for L&N and C&O freight & passenger trains.
