| Several hundred meter below the peaks of the Swiss alps, the "Gottardino" train with Re 460 # 008 stopped in the multifunction station of Sedrun for about 45 minutes, in the "middle" of the 57 kilometer long Gotthard Base Tunnel between Pollegio and Erstfeld (Ryn?cht). The "pioneers" were able to take pictures and to visit an interesting exhibition about planning, blasting and construction of the world's longest railway tunnel. |
