Filling the tracks on Logan Hill
A rear DPU shoves hard on an eastbound (southbound) Union Pacific coal train cresting the summit of Logan Hill on Track 1 to the right, while on Track 2, a UP light engine move westbound has just met an eastbound BNSF coal train climbing the grade. Just coming into the scene on Track 3 is another eastbound BNSF coal load. All four tracks are getting used at sunset on Logan Hill in Wyoming’s busy Powder River Basin west (north) of Bill on June 18, 2015. |
