Firing the cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/4 # 4 with a loaded 4 car train on the 11.0 % grade up to the Furka. Boiler pressure needle shows 13,5 bar (192 PSI), the coal is of good quality and the fireman Stefan very experienced, so is the driver Minu. The photo is shot from the platform of the first car.
