| Having lost its SD40-2 counterpart from two weeks ago, A746 has now been working its customers with only a solo SD40-3 in the lead. The addition of rear ditch lights when this unit was rebuilt into the Dash-3 program works out perfectly for this scenario since it allows the locomotive to maintain the same three light triangular configuration regardless of which direction it is traveling. |
