| Famed L&N rail historians Ron Flanary and Charlie Castner pose in front of C&O 2716 which was temporarily cosmetically altered to look like an L&N M-1 engine for the L&N Historical Society Convention. The Convention was held in Shepherdsville KY and attendees were present for the unveiling of "L&N 1992", a re-imagining of the big 2-8-4 conducted by members of the Kentucky Steam Heritage Corp.
