Diesel-hydraulic locomotive Type Mak G 763 C of the VGH Vekehrbetriebe Grafschaft Hoya in the station of Hoya. The locomotive with NVR-number 98 80 0262 217-9 D-VGH was build in 1989 by MaK for Siegener Kreisbahn as number 31. It was sold to a retailer, rent to several railroads, e.g. BASF in Antwerpen and finally In the year 2011 the locomotive came to VGH. VGH nowadays offers passenger Trains only on Sundays, special events and for charter, the normal business is done by bus. But the little railroad transports a lot of freight , mainly from and to the Paper factory in Hoya. and their staff is really very friendly.
