| NS 97Q rests in Kannapolis. The crew was still on board, I assume waiting for a ride. The train was originally supposed to head down to the single track between Junker and Haydock, but the mainline became tied up for several hours after 338 got snagged by a critical alarm on a defect detector that resulted in the conductor having to walk the train only to discover there was no issue at all. Go figure! |
