Ex SP SD40T-2 #2006 leads an empty Trona Railway coal train, as it begins its journey to the Union Pacific interchange at Searles, CA. The days of coal trains on the Trona Railway are numbered, as the power generating plant at Trona plans to switch to natural gas sometime in 2017.
