Remarks & Notes

A diamond sits in the woods on an abandoned portion of Conrail's Reformatory Branch. One track connected the CNJ (later Conrail) Reformatory Branch with the former PRR/PC (now NJ Transit) Coast Line. The other track connected the coast line with the Philadelphia Quartz plant. Where the two tracks intersected is the diamond in this photo. It hasn't been used in at least 20 years.
