On a calm evening along the Central Coast, Union Pacific 8266 leads the Board of Director's Special around the horseshoe curve near San Luis Obispo, California. Soon this train will make a station stop in SLO, allowing some company executives to detrain and fly back to the Bay Area. The following day, this train would finish its journey along the coast as it headed for Los Angeles.
