A pair of Amtrak F40PHs are seen bringing the Sweden-built X2000 past Joliet's Union Station. The X2000 was used in testing along the Northeast Corridor during 1992 and 1993 and was the predecessor to the Acela electric sets obtained several years later. Tom Golden photo.
