Silent Night - Valley Railroad Mikado No. 40 shoves south, away from the camera, on a dark and cold November night in Chester, Connecticut as part of her plume reflects some of the surrounding marina's lights. The train, the last North Pole Express of the evening, is loaded with families visiting with Santa and his elves, is heading back to the "North Pole" to drop the jolly old elf and his helpers off.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
