| NS local U91 rolls across the Slab Fork trestle with three GE motors at the point, rolling along the Princeton-Deepwater District from Deepwater to Elmore Yard. With the announcement that the line between Elmore and Kellysville would be mothballed in favor of the low-grade Guyandot River Branch, railfans were descending upon the line to document the last "hill runs" up the grade to Clarks Gap, as this train would do later in the evening. This section of track is now operated by WATCO Companies as their Kanawha River Railroad. |
