A burned out headlight needs changing as Amtrak No. 5, the westbound California Zephyr, makes its station and service stop at Denver, Colorado, on February, 23, 1986. The electrician has found a way to use the tiny ledge above the pilot on EMD F40PH No. 398 to access the headlight to change out the bulb. Two tracks over, Rio Grande’s Ski Train also waits to go west.
