Trundling slowly over the frigid Allegheny River below, three Wheeling & Lake Erie SD40-2s lead a loaded coke train up the Buffalo & Pittsburgh. In cooperation with the WE and the Allegheny Valley Railroad, the B&P has been handling a series of coke trains from Monessen, PA to Buffalo, NY. In addition to the regularly-scheduled road trains, these coke extras make for a busy railroad.
