NS U47 moves forward in downtown Appalachia, VA with empty coal hoppers and gondolas. U47 originated in Norton, VA on this day. Once NS U47 clears the wye in Appalachia, VA, the train will couple to a caboose parked on another leg of the wye and then back the train to Wentz, VA for loading.
