Remarks & Notes

AN eastbound freight train is working towards the next crew change at Ft. Madison. Seen here about to Revere and almost to Iowa. The train is on the Marceline Sub that runs between KC and Fort Mad. Most of the Santa Fe SF30C's were sold to either NRE or LRC in mid 1997. Most of these units were built as U36C's from 1973-75, and were rebuilt into SF30C's in 1985-86.
