Coming around on one the most picture perfect curve on this section of the CSX Chattanooga Sub, the 8,561ft long CSX L675-07 (Hamlet,NC-Nashville,TN) is making its descent down the Raccoon Mountain grade on the main 1 track in Whiteside, TN (MP J-137.6 Whiteside). With the fresh obnoxious smell creosote from the ties, that was recently laid out, it's a big indication that a tied, and rail replacement project is around the corner on this section of railroad.
