| N&W heritage on the D&H. After 4 years, the N&W heritage unit made it's first daylight run on the Delaware & Hudson. The extra empty autorack train is seen crossing the iconic D&H trestle located north of Binghamton. From N&W ownership of the D&H under DERECO in the late 1960's to N&W run through power from Buffalo after D&H expansion in 1976 to black NW U-boats sent by NS during the D&H bankruptcy in the late 1980's, N&W power has been a common site here for a long time. |
