VIA #2, "The Canadian", is only 3 hours behind schedule as it passes through Mount Albert, ON. Thankfully for the photographer and some passengers, 2 southbound freights were not helping it gain any time as they were block to block with M302 and Q102 further ahead. At this point #2 is approximately 2 hours out of Toronto's Union Station and will soon be at track speed once hitting the double track main
Motive Power Industries and GMD of Canada have rebuilt the EMD F40PH. These rebuild F40s are slowly fading, but some can be seen in California and Canada.
