| For the first time in many years, the ex-Southern Pacific water cars based out of Guadalupe come to life as they are readied for the fight against the raging Cuesta Fire should the call come in. Spewing sludge, rust and other heavy sentiment in the water out onto the nose of the UP 2437, the almost pitch black streak trickling down the side of the cab alone shows just how long it has been since these cars were last used. |
