| Located in southeastern Benton County, this sleepy little town of 118 people sits along the busy UP double main thru Iowa. The Clinton Sub is part of the mainline that connects North Platte and Chicago for the UP. On a nice Saturday a westbound Global 3 to Seattle stack train rumbles thru town. I got the bird out to capture the city scene. Watkins is located at MP 109, about 109 miles west of Clinton. |
