| The new german ICE 4 # 9004 is on running-gear technology testruns on the Gotthard mountain line, now called "Panoramastrecke". This day the train circulated several times between Airolo and Bodio on the south ramp. The 12 car train with 9900 kW and for 250 km/h is tackling the 2.6 % grade with San Martino church near Calonico up on the rocks.
