| For many years the BNSF had this Columbia Coal contract out of the PBR in Wyoming. Trains were ran to St. Paul for interchange with the CP for the plant near Portage, WI. Now the UP has the contract and the trains run via Clinton-Marquette-La Crescent. Here an empty train hugs the Mississippi River on the way back to the UP at Clinton. The train is 3 miles north of Marquette as they cross a causeway in the back waters near the Yellow River in the Effigy Mounds area. These trains seem to usually be 1x1 DP-ed.
