After taking the winter months off Union Pacific FEF3 #844 returned to the mainline on April 10th, 2017 for a 'break-in' run between Cheyenne, WY and Greeley, CO. On the return leg of its journey 844 is working up grade towards Speer, WY with a train of support cars in tow. Diesel 2760 spent most of the day in various dynamics notches simulating a load for the big ALCo to pull.
