Southern Railroad of New Jersey's F7A units have certainly seen better days than what they see now. With the rise of the notion among the photography community that Winslow Junction is "an abandoned train graveyard" when it's really still active, some mischievous adventures have left their mark on the battered pair.
Soon enough they'll be going to a new home, as the unit pair and a ex-NYSW RDC are scheduled to be shipped out of the state to a new railroad. Medanwhile, SRNJ 728 (in its special New York, Ontario, and Western paint scheme) sits idle until then.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
