      Remarks & Notes
I Went Down to the River...

As Metrolink 860 makes its way from Oceanside to San Bernardino it crosses the Santa Ana River as it passes from Orange to Anaheim on May 28, 2017. Cab car 688 is on the head-end of this six-car train, with MP36PH-3C 899 shoving on the rear. Once this train gets off Metrolink’s single-track Olive Subdivision, roughly two miles ahead, the way will be clear for BNSF’s H-BARSDG1-28 to finally, after a two-hour wait (for this Metrolink train), get under way again as it heads from Barstow to San Diego. The Olive Sub sees 16 Metrolink trains on weekdays, and just 4 Metrolink trains on weekend days. It is also used by BNSF freights heading to and from San Diego.

Amtrak & Via Rail, along with commuter trains go here. Also their predecessors. PS. I only like diesels or electric.
