The "Wuppertaler Schwebebahn" is a single rail suspension railway with double flange wheels, which is running on a 13,3 kilometer long double track line between Wuppertal Oberbarmen and Wuppertal Vohwinkel, on about 10 kilometers length high above the Wupper river. In the Vohwinkel work and stable hall, two generation of vehicles can be seen side by side, from left GTW 72 (built from 1972 to 1975) # 16, GTW 15 (built from 2015) # 13 fresh from the factory in Valencia/Spain.
