| 5108 leads DC (EMD G22AR) locos 4058 and 4323 on a manifest train to Whangarei emerging from Mareretu tunnel. The DX class was built by General Electric's Erie, PA plant and entered service from 1972. 126 is the only daylight freight train over this scenic and rugged line. Finally lucky here but nearly not with shadow taking over soon after this shot at 15:15. |
