Striking out with local freight action in the Bangor, Maine area during the first Sunday of June 2017, a visit to the nearby Downeast Scenic in Ellsworth helped salvage the day. Waiting on their 1:30pm departure and following them up to "The Falls" section of town, we caught S4 #1055 crossing Hannah Way while still on the main. It would momentarily cut off the train and do a run-around on the siding to reconnect with the other end before heading back for Washington Junction.
