NS U48, crewed by engineer Delmer Lester, brakeman Leroy Williams and conductor Roy Mellon, rolls light across the bridge over the Guest River and the ex-N&W CV line at Ramsey. U48 has just finished placing empties at Paramount and is returning to the ex-N&W's Norton Yard for its next assignment.
