Though Southern Pacific had already officially taken over, an encore for Denver & Rio Grande Western power was had on June 22, 1994, as the Denver, CO to Roseville, CA train 1DVROM-21 is seen approaching Desert, Utah on the former DRGW 5th Subdivision with three models of DRGW power - GP40-2 3110, SD45 5339 and GP40 3088.
